The University pursues its objectives of centrality in the cultural, professional and economic development of the territory by making resources, productive knowledge and innovative know-how available to the community and individual professionals.

Due to the very nature of its specific vocations and cultural identities, the University collaborates and responds to the requests of public and private entities with research and consultancy activities carried out, generally at the Laboratories, on the basis of contracts and agreements on behalf of third parties.

The services with external clients concern in particular

for the agricultural area:

  • Soil protection, hydrological models, collective irrigation and efficient management of water resources in agriculture

for the Architecture area:

  • Integrated Local Development Projects for tourism, quality of life, enhancement of architectural and cultural heritage
  • Agreements and conventions with Local Authorities for the creation of thematic tables and plans on the themes of Urban and Territorial Strategies
  • Enhancement of the sustainable city, the territory and the environment
  • Analysis and characterization of materials and optimization/re-conversion of production cycles of materials for restoration
  • Surveying, 3D modeling and prototyping of architectural artefacts and cultural heritage
  • Tests and Certifications for the Building Envelope according to National (UNI) and International (ASTM-AMAA) Standards; Material microstructure; Identification of morphological microdefects; Analysis of component surfaces; Fractographic analysis of components

for the Law area:

  • Orders for training/educational activities of employees of other Public Administrations with particular regard to the following topics:

a) Drafting techniques of legislative acts
b) Distribution of legislative powers between the State and the Regions
c) Dynamics of constitutional litigation
d) Effects of the declaration of unconstitutionality
e) Economic analysis of the law

for the Engineering area:

  • Feasibility studies for the creation of georeferenced infomobility systems for smartphones intended for citizens and tourists
  • Testing of road, rail and airport materials
  • Sanitary and environmental engineering for the characterization and management of wastewater, waste and related plants
  • Technical support for the preparation of Destructive (PD) and Non-Destructive (NDT) Investigation plans in the field of structural engineering
  • Contracts and Agreements for consultancy activities with Public and Private Bodies with particular regard to the following topics:
  • Study of the dynamics of the coasts, shorelines and marine weather
