Student institutional email

The authentication system for Microsoft users (Office 365, Teams, student email) has been updated.
The update involves all University Microsoft users (students, teachers and PTAB).

All student accounts are in the form [email protected] .

Upon first access, new accounts must be activated via a password reset, following the procedure available at the link passwordreset.microsoftonline.com .

Existing users who encounter problems logging in can reset their password on their own by following the instructions on the Microsoft website.

Resetting a forgotten Microsoft account password

Students enrolled up to the 2013/14 academic year, with a username of the type [email protected] , have received a new username of the type [email protected] , without content migration.

Access to educational services and email will be provided exclusively through the new username.

Microsoft Office 365

Regularly enrolled students can download and install the Microsoft Office 365 software suite on their devices

To activate the download, simply follow the wizard available at the link https://products.office.com/it-it/student/office-in-education

using the institutional email account for authentication.

The process will authorize the download of the software for up to five devices.

University WiFi network access for students

Wi-Fi Internet access is provided both through the University network and through the EDUROAM service.

Students can surf the Internet for free in broadband, through access points (hot spots) located throughout the University. Wireless coverage reaches almost all classrooms and places frequented by students.

To access the service you need:

  • be physically within the “wi-fi zone”
  • activate the wireless interface on your device (PC, netbook, notebook, PDA, etc.)
  • access the network identified as “unirc-wifi”
  • enter your institutional email credentials

The user will remain logged in until the logout procedure is activated or the device's wireless interface is deactivated.

MATLAB

Università Mediterranea has signed an agreement with MathWorks that allows all students, faculty, and researchers to access MATLAB, Simulink, and additional products on and off campus, on any device. Everyone has access to MathWorks learning resources, including Self-paced Online Courses, to rapidly develop their MATLAB and Simulink skills. The Campus-Wide License includes products for analysis, design, modeling, simulation, code generation, and testing for engineering and science departments, as well as computational finance products for economics departments.

Student Services Portal (ESSE3)

The student services portal can be reached at unirc.esse3.cineca.it

To authenticate, you must enter your tax code and Microsoft services password.

E-Learning Portal

Each student of the "Mediterranea" is assigned a user name on the University e-learning portal ( e-learning.unirc.it ).

For students enrolled from the 2019/2020 academic year, the utilities coincide with the tax code , while for those enrolled in previous years the utilities coincide with the matriculation number .
