From May 12 to 14, 2026, the University hosted an institutional visit by the ANVUR Commission of Evaluation Experts (CEV): days of discussion on the quality of education, research, and services.

This year, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has chosen to dedicate its 5x1000  donations entirely   to those who are the beating heart of our University: our students.

Calabrian universities, in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Universities and Research, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Merit, have been asked to decide on the educational potential for each level of schooling.

The Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabra is strengthening its social commitment with the launch of an ambitious initiative that focuses on sport as a means of promoting wellbeing, integration and personal growth. Carried out with the support of the Calabria Regional Government, CONI and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), the project aims to enhance the University’s sports facilities, making them accessible to the entire academic community without exception.

This concrete result consolidates a period of financial stability and paves the way for an important period for the University of Reggio.

The year 2025 also marks an increase in the number of registrations of over 15% compared to the previous year and of approximately 38% compared to two years ago.

Final event to present the research results, organized as part of the "PRIN2022-RISK" research project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The rankings for all eligible remaining "Scholarship" candidates for the academic year 2025/26 have been published on the online noticeboard, as required by the competition announcement for the assignment of benefits for the right to university education pursuant to DR 248 of 02/07/25, and serve as notification to interested parties.

On the occasion of National Made in Italy Day, the Università Mediterranea brought together institutions, the business community, and a large student body, placing the need to compete head-on while upholding the principles of legality at the center of the debate.
