International Relations

The Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria considers the strengthening of international cooperation with foreign Universities and Higher Education Institutions one of the most important aspects of university life and believes that it represents a fundamental element to promote the international dimension of studies, teaching, scientific research, didactics and academic training;

UNIRC's promotion of Internationalization is achieved through various activities that include the stipulation of international agreements or participation in networks, the creation of double degree study paths, a strong incentive for both incoming and outgoing mobility of students, teachers, researchers and technical-administrative staff, in particular within the Erasmus+ project, and obviously the enrollment of international students with particular attention to situations related to the contingent geopolitical scenario (just consider the university's adherence to the UNICORE project for the reception of refugee students).

The Università Mediterranea, while being a dynamic reality and ready for the challenges of contemporaneity and global contexts with which it finds itself interfacing, at the same time maintains strong roots in the territory in which it operates, trying to enhance its peculiarities and in some cases its uniqueness, and promotes initiatives that involve both external actors and local institutions, to achieve growth in value not only of the university but also of the metropolitan context in which it is inserted.

In the following pages you will find information that explains in detail the many activities mentioned above.
