Italian Erasmus
The Italian Erasmus Program promotes and supports the mutual exchange of students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or single-cycle master's degree programs. The Program aims to develop innovative study paths that foster interdisciplinarity and flexibility in the curriculum, with a view to enriching the curriculum with additional and complementary learning activities beyond those offered by the home university. Pursuant to Ministerial Decree No. 397 of May 16, 2025, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has established two new mobility programs for the upcoming 2025/2026 academic year, aimed at attending courses (and taking the related final exams):
- at the University of Bergamo,
- at the University of Sassari.
Given the growing interest in the national student mobility program , which allows students to enrich their academic and professional curriculum with a more limited financial commitment than that generally required for international mobility, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has established a scholarship program aimed at attending courses (and taking the related final exams) at the partner universities mentioned above.
This experiment by the universities of Bergamo and Reggio Calabria represents the first in Italy to be part of the MUR's strategic plan , as demonstrated by the €10 million in funding included in the budget for the next two years . The two universities presented the project to their students in the presence of the Minister of Universities and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.
Starting in the 2025/2026 academic year, students at the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria and the University of Sassari will be able to participate in the new Italian Erasmus Program for student mobility across the country.
