Italian Erasmus
The Italian Erasmus is a national mobility program promoted by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR).
It allows university students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or single-cycle master's degree programs to spend a period of study at another Italian university while maintaining enrollment and exam recognition at their home university.
The Program aims to develop innovative study paths that foster interdisciplinarity and flexibility in the curriculum, with a view to enriching the curriculum with additional and complementary training activities beyond those offered by the home university.
Pursuant to Ministerial Decree no. 397 of 16/05/2025, the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria has established two mobility programs aimed at attending courses (and taking the related exams):
- at the University of Bergamo (UNIBG)
- at the University of Sassari (UNISS)

The Erasmus Italy Call for Applications - Study Mobility at the University of Bergamo - 1st semester AY 2026-2027 has been published _ deadline 11:59 PM on 06/07/2026
They can apply through their personal ESSE3 page https://unirc.esse3.cineca.it/Root.do
Students regularly enrolled in the following courses of study for the 2025/2026 academic year:
- students regularly enrolled in the 1st and 2nd year of the Master's Degree courses in Engineering (LM-23, LM-27, LM-28, LM-29, LM-30, LM-35);
- students regularly enrolled in the 3rd year of Engineering degree courses (L-7, L-8, L-9);
- students regularly enrolled in the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of the single-cycle Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences (LM 85-bis) and the single-cycle Master's Degree in Architecture (LM-4).
Applicants must have an ISEE declaration with a value not exceeding €50,000

The Erasmus Italy Call for Applications - Study Mobility at the University of Sassari - 2nd semester 2025-2026 academic year has been published _ deadline 11:59 PM on 07/11/2025
Students regularly enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year may apply:
- to the three-year degree course in Design L-4;
- to the single-cycle Master's Degree Course in Architecture LM-4.
Students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year will be admitted conditionally and must regularize their status before signing the mobility contract.
Applicants must have a declared ISEE value of no more than €50,000.00 for the previous year.

The following can apply:
- students regularly enrolled in the 1st and 2nd year of the 2025/2026 academic year of the Master's Degree courses in Engineering (LM-23, LM-27, LM-28, LM-29, LM-30, LM-35);
- students regularly enrolled in the 3rd year of the 2025/2026 academic year in the Engineering degree courses (L-7, L-8, L-9);
- students regularly enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year in the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of the Single-Cycle Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences (LM-85bis);
- students regularly enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year in the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of the Single-Cycle Master's Degree in Architecture (LM-4).
Students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year will be admitted conditionally and must regularize their status before signing the mobility contract.
Applicants must have an ISEE declaration with a value no greater than €50,000 (for the previous year, the amount will be verified on the Esse3 platform).

Students regularly enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year may apply:
- to the three-year degree course in Design L-4;
- to the single-cycle Master's Degree Course in Architecture LM-4.
Students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year will be admitted conditionally and must regularize their status before signing the mobility contract.
Applicants must have an ISEE declaration with a value no greater than €50,000 (for the previous year, the amount will be verified on the Esse3 platform).
Study mobility at the University of Bergamo - 2nd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year
The Erasmus Italy Call for Applications - Study Mobility at the University of Bergamo - 2nd semester AY 2024-2025 has been published _ deadline 11:59 PM on 08/10/2024
The following can apply:
- graduating students in the 2023/2024 academic year who will submit a pre-enrollment application for the 2024/2025 academic year in a Master's Degree course in Engineering (LM-23, LM-27, LM-28, LM-29, LM-30, LM-35);
- students regularly enrolled in the 1st and 2nd year of the 2024/2025 academic year of the Master's Degree courses in Engineering (LM-23, LM-27, LM-28, LM-29, LM-30, LM-35);
- students regularly enrolled in the 3rd year of the 2024/2025 academic year in the Engineering degree courses (L-7, L-8, L-9);
- students regularly enrolled in the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of the single-cycle Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences (LM-85bis);
- students regularly enrolled in the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of the single-cycle Master's Degree in Architecture (LM-4).
Applicants must have an ISEE declaration with a value no greater than €36,000 (for the previous year, the amount will be verified on the Esse3 platform).

Mobility grants for study in Italy at the University of Bergamo
The first CALL FOR MOBILITY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDY IN ITALY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BERGAMO has been published for students enrolled at the UNIVERSITA' MEDITERRANEA DI REGGIO CALABRIA - academic year 2023/2024.
For the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, 5 scholarships are available for a study period ranging from a minimum of three months to a maximum of six months, with a maximum amount of €4,000.00 each (before taxes paid by the beneficiary).
In particular, the following are available:
- 3 scholarships for students enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of the Master's Degree courses in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications Systems LM 27 and Engineering for Sustainable Management of the Environment and Energy LM 30&35;
- 2 scholarships for students enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of the single-cycle Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences LM 85-bis.
The mobility will take place at the University of Bergamo: there, students will be able to attend courses, write their theses, and take exams as part of their study program.
