Access to Oxford Academic and OA publications for Unversità Mediterranea authors

Following the Mediterranea University's accession to the new CRUI – Oxford University Press 2024-2026 contract, users of the University Library System have access to all the journals on the Oxford Academic platform . These are over 500 journals in the following areas:  law, economics, political sciences, human sciences, art, natural sciences, mathematics, medicine. Access is permitted by the University network and remotely via VPN and IDEM.

Furthermore, by virtue of the CRUI – Oxford University Press 2024-2026 contract, corresponding authors affiliated with the Università Mediterranea can benefit from the coverage of the costs of open access publication of their products in OUP hybrid journals . The research products included are: research article, review article, case report, brief report. 

Those who have published such products in closed access in OUP hybrid journals in the year 2024 are eligible to have them converted to open access. If they have not been contacted by OUP in this regard, they can send an email to the following address:  jnls.author.support@oup.com .

Finally, corresponding authors affiliated with the Mediterranean University can benefit from a 15% discount on the costs of open access publication of their research products in OUP journals that are entirely open access (so-called gold journals).
