At the Department of Agriculture it is possible to complete the training path by accessing the course of:

PhD in Agricultural, Food and Forestry Sciences (SAAF) .

The aim of the Doctorate is to train young researchers with advanced basic and/or applied knowledge, in step with the main frontiers of knowledge at national and international level, within specific scientific disciplinary sectors (SSD) of interest to the Doctorate.

The skills acquired by the SAAF Doctor of Research allow for placement not only in universities and public or private research institutions, but also in the technical and managerial roles of institutions operating in the primary production and environmental management sectors, as well as in the management of agricultural and/or processing companies.
