New conflicts, crises, wars: what future for social rights and work?
The conference, organized by the Department of Labor Law's Department of Labor Law, addresses highly topical issues, starting with the transformation of the workplace (especially due to rapid technological innovation), which is intertwined with the economic, social, and environmental crisis, and the complex geopolitical situation. This poses the risk that public resources will be absorbed by rearmament projects and that security itself (of work, but also of personal protection, and the guarantee of fundamental social rights) could be called into question.
To address these issues, which require diverse expertise, the conference brought together economists, historians, jurists of diverse persuasions, and anthropologists, focusing primarily on labor issues, which are at the heart of these important changes.
The Conference will take place on October 8th (3.00-7.30pm) and October 9th (9.00am-1.30pm) at the Atelier of the Department of Architecture, preceded by Greetings from the Rector and the Director of the Digies Department.
