Expression of interest in obtaining a license to drive agricultural or forestry tractors
As part of the third mission activities that the Department of Agriculture of the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria carries out, it intends to launch, in collaboration with the University Educational-Experimental Agricultural Company and in agreement with EFEI JOINT BODY FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK , a specialized training course pursuant to the State-Regions Agreement of 7 July 2016, aimed at issuing a license for driving agricultural or forestry tractors.
This initiative, aimed at students in the Department of Agriculture, was created to strengthen the technical skills and safety awareness of students who intend to work in the professional and entrepreneurial fields, while also enhancing their education with a nationally recognized qualification.
The practical part will take place at the University's Experimental-Educational Farm located in Gallina.
At the end of the training course, participants will be issued an official tractor driving license , valid nationwide. This certifies not only their operational ability to use agricultural machinery, but also significantly enhances their professional profile, demonstrating their acquisition of advanced technical and workplace safety skills.
This communication is intended to survey the number of interested parties and evaluate their actual activation based on the feedback received. It does not constitute formal registration. Courses are estimated to start in February/March 2026.
