Provisions for vehicle access within the Engineering complex
On the occasion of the next graduation sessions, a shuttle bus service will be active between the beginning of Via Zehender and the interior of the Engineering Departments.
Please be advised that, for the upcoming graduation sessions, given the limited number of available parking spaces, vehicle access to the Engineering building will be regulated. This decision was made jointly by the Directors of the Engineering Departments (DIIES and DICEAM), the Director General, and the University administration.
A shuttle bus service operated by ATAM spa will be established, running between the start of Via Zehender and the inside of the engineering complex. The service will run from 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The service will be free of charge for all users of the citadel and for patrons.
They will be authorized to access with their own vehicles, respecting the following order of priority:
- people with certified reduced mobility;
- the Teaching Staff (PD), the researchers and the Technical, Administrative and Library Staff (PTAB);
- cleaning and catering staff;
- research fellows;
- PhD students;
- Graduation candidates who have communicated their vehicle's license plate to the DICEAM department's academic secretariat in advance are permitted to use one vehicle per candidate.
Authorized users will be verified at the beginning of Via Zehender by the university campus staff. Permanent staff (PD, researchers, and PTAB) will be identified with a badge; other users will be identified through a list available to the security staff. If you do not have your badge, please notify the Department office promptly.
To ensure the bus has enough space to maneuver, parking is not permitted on the road connecting the parking areas.
Therefore, once the designated parking spaces are full, the security staff will prevent access with your own vehicle, and access will be made by using the shuttle bus. Carpooling is recommended to limit the use of available parking spaces.
The measures indicated are necessary to increase the level of safety and therefore protect all users of the complex.
