Rural Connections. Open Farms, from Lab to Field.

The Department of Agriculture at the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has joined the project " Rural Connections. Open Farms, from the lab to the field ," promoted for the 2025-2026 two-year period by the Calabria Region in collaboration with the National Rural Network. Rural Connections is a training program for university students, aimed at fostering discussion and knowledge exchange between the productive world, the education system, and institutions, enhancing the leadership and participation of young people. Rural Connections represents the operational heart of the PAC Network Academy, based on a project architecture that integrates three closely interconnected pillars: Training, Action Research, and Outreach. PAC Network Academy is the framework initiative promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry.
