Seminars “Public Speaking: the art of speaking”

On Tuesday 27 May and Thursday 29 May  at 9.00 am in the Aula Laboratori Didattici on the ground floor of the DiGiES Department, the Seminar Series entitled “Public speaking: the art of speaking” will be held, aimed at students, undergraduates and graduates of the Mediterranea.

The initiative will be divided into two events aimed at developing communication and oratory skills.

The initiative is promoted by the Job Placement Sector in collaboration with the MUSA Student Association

Public speaking is a fundamentally important cross-curricular skill, even for university education. Knowing how to communicate clearly, effectively and persuasively is essential not only to successfully tackle the academic path, but also to enter the world of work with awareness and competitiveness. The ability to express one's ideas with confidence, to actively participate in discussions and presentations and to give a speech in public is now more than ever considered an added value.

The initiative aims to offer students a concrete opportunity to develop these skills through a practical and interactive approach, thanks to the presence of speakers Dr. Michelangelo Marino Pedagogist - Mental coach - CHO and Anna De Angelis - Head of the University Job Placement Sector - Expert consultant in Orientation and Career Guidance processes.

The scientific referent of the two seminars is Prof. Bruno Pansera.

Alice Ligato from the Job Placement Sector collaborates in the classroom work

2 CFU will be recognized to students enrolled in the DiGiES department who participate in the seminars.
