Study Day on Geomatics

The Geomatics Study Day, organized on February 20th by the DICEAM Geomatics Laboratory, will be entirely dedicated to an in-depth exploration of a transversal and profoundly multidisciplinary discipline that deals with the surveying, processing, and rendering of georeferenced data, ensuring their accuracy and correct spatial classification, with significant implications for multiple application sectors. The meeting represents an important opportunity for discussion between academia, research, institutions, and the professional world, thanks to the participation of nationally and internationally renowned scholars.

Geomatics, now more than ever, plays a strategic role in understanding and managing phenomena affecting the environment, infrastructure, and land security. The event will feature scientific presentations, practical demonstrations, and opportunities for open dialogue, showcasing the wealth of expertise that characterizes this sector.

The event is open to the university community, professionals, and all interested parties to share visions, experiences, and perspectives in a field that combines technological innovation with knowledge of the local area and the environment. Five Professional Training Credits (CFP)

will be awarded to all participants registered with the Order of Engineers .
