University Open Day 2025: Discover the Università Mediterranea
On December 4, 2025, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria will welcome students, families, and faculty from high schools for its traditional Open Day, a day dedicated to presenting the university's educational offerings and services.
The event, which will take place in Lot D of the University Campus, will offer participants the opportunity to meet professors and researchers, tour laboratories, and obtain information on enrollment, scholarships, international mobility, and disability services.
There will be plenty of fun moments, such as “Interviews with Leo,” the University mascot, and the “Your Hero is You!” animation.
The initiative represents a valuable opportunity to explore the various degree programs and gain a firsthand understanding of university life in a dynamic and ever-growing environment. Mediterranea invites all interested parties to participate and discover the academic prospects and innovations that characterize the University of Reggio Calabria.
Concurrent with the University Open Day, the “ UniSchool Cup ” event will be held, a tournament that goes far beyond a sporting competition: it is a place to team up, share emotions and grow together.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience the adrenaline rush of the pitch, hear the cheering, and discover the magic of a group that becomes a true family. As the organizers emphasize: "We win together, we grow together, we truly are a team."
The event will be even more enjoyable thanks to the musical performance of the “Augusto Favaloro Plastic Band”.
The day will end at 5.30pm with two unmissable moments: the “Lighting of the Università Mediterranea Christmas Tree”, a symbol of celebration and sharing, and the “UniSchool Cup” awards ceremony, which will celebrate the teams and the values of sport and collaboration.
