Erasmus+ in digital

The Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme aims to digitise and simplify administrative procedures and improve the student experience through digital tools. This includes the use of online platforms for mobility management, digital learning agreements and the integration of digital technologies in education. For this reason, the University Erasmus Office plans to help future students on the move:

  • in the compilation of the OLA (Online Learning Agreement) which allows the digital completion of the document by the student, the home institution and the host institution. During the compilation phase, the student will be issued the European Student Identifier (ESI) , a unique electronic identifier (ID) for European students valid at other European educational institutions and which allows the identification, throughout Europe, in a unique manner of the identification and identity of the student who accesses digital services;
  • on the use of the Erasmus+ Mobile App , as a single and certified access point that facilitates students in formalising the necessary administrative procedures related to Erasmus mobility, offering above all the possibility of a wider choice of programmes that students can follow;
  • the support needed to issue the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI) , which simplifies student mobility in Europe by enabling higher education institutions and student service providers to easily and reliably verify a student's status at European level, making it easier for them to access services on and off campus (e.g. university buildings, library services, transport discounts, etc.) and their mobility experience more rewarding.
