ECTS Grade Tables and Scale
The ECTS grading tables and scale are tools that facilitate the transfer of academic results (expressed in terms of grades) between different national assessment systems. They are adopted by universities in the countries belonging to the European Higher Education Area and enable the conversion of grades from one country into grades from another , according to shared rules at the European level.
In accordance with the ECTS Users' Guide 2015, the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria has developed ECTS grade conversion tables by subject area, based on the percentage distribution of grades obtained by students enrolled in degree courses belonging to each subject area in a given period.
The statistical distribution of exam grades and degree grades within each disciplinary area is broken down by study cycle (bachelor's degree, master's degree, and single-cycle master's degree).
