This is the first course offered in the field of biology at the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria and represents an increasingly timely response to the global ecological transition. The new course in Biotechnology for Sustainability is launching at the Università di Reggio Calabria, with enrollment closing on September 30th. "In particular, the green job market is preparing to welcome new professionals who—upon completion of the three academic years—will be able to boast cutting-edge scientific training. A key aspect of the program is, in fact, the combination of the study of cellular biology with the most advanced digital technologies," emphasizes Professor Francesco Sunseri, Full Professor of Agricultural Genetics at the Department of Agriculture and course coordinator. "We have embraced this challenge with great awareness and responsibility. It was based on a careful assessment of the local area, as well as an analysis of our University's educational offerings, which lacked any in the biological field."
