International Relations

The University of Reggio Calabria considers strengthening international cooperation with foreign universities and higher education institutions to be one of the most important aspects of university life and believes it represents a fundamental element in promoting the international dimension of studies, teaching, scientific research, teaching and academic training;

UNIRC's internationalization promotion efforts are implemented through various activities, including signing international agreements or participating in networks, creating double-degree study programs, strongly encouraging incoming and outgoing mobility for students, faculty, researchers, and technical-administrative staff, particularly within the Erasmus+ program, and, of course, enrolling international students, with particular attention to situations related to the current geopolitical landscape (for example, the university's participation in the UNICORE project for welcoming refugee students).

While the Università Mediterranea is a dynamic institution, ready to meet the challenges of contemporary life and the global contexts it faces, it also maintains strong roots in the local area in which it operates, seeking to enhance its unique characteristics and, in some cases, its uniqueness. It promotes initiatives that involve both external stakeholders and local institutions, to achieve growth not only for the university but also for the metropolitan context in which it is located.

On the following pages you will find information detailing the many activities mentioned above.
