The results of the CENSIS 2025/2026 rankings and the Almalaurea survey (2025 Report) confirm the Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria as a leading institution for the quality of its teaching, the effectiveness of its services, and the centrality of its students, in a solid and nationally recognized growth path.

In the CENSIS ranking to which the Università Mediterranea belongs, the one dedicated to small state universities (with fewer than 10,000 enrolled students), the University has achieved growing and extremely significant results, distinguishing itself for the quality of its services and teaching. This year too, the Università Mediterranea achieved the maximum score (110) in the "Scholarships" indicator, demonstrating the concrete attention paid to the right to education, and 100 points in the "Facilities" indicator, which evaluates the equipment and functionality of classrooms, libraries and laboratories. The University's overall score has increased compared to the previous year, thanks to the increase in ratings recorded in the indicators relating to "Services", "Internationalisation" and "Employability", confirming a constant commitment to improving not only the educational offering but also student services.

Financial support for students continues to be one of the University of Reggio's strengths: approximately 33% of enrolled students have received a scholarship, in line with the maximum score achieved in the relevant indicator.

Excellent results also emerge from the analysis of individual degree courses, among which it is worth mentioning the three-year course in Design, which ranks third nationally out of 42 courses analyzed, the single-cycle course in Primary Education Sciences, fourth out of 26, and the three-year course in Educational Sciences, fifth out of 34.

The other academic areas of the University of Reggio Calabria also performed very well: Agriculture, Architecture, Economics, Law, Engineering, and the new Sports Sciences, confirming the solidity of the educational offering and its nationally recognized quality.

The Almalaurea survey also paints an extremely positive picture of educational quality: 93% of graduates declare themselves overall satisfied with their course of study; the employment rate of master's degree graduates five years after graduation is 84.3%, and 81% of employed graduates believe their degree was "very effective" or "effective" for their job, a figure significantly higher than the national average (75%).

Reinforcing this positive picture, the initial enrollment data for the 2025/2026 academic year confirm the growth trend already seen the previous year. The region continues to recognize the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria, increasingly choosing it as a benchmark for higher education in Southern Italy.

Therefore, the Università Mediterranea is increasingly committed to fostering an environment of study and sharing, supporting the university journey, where every student feels part of a community and is recognized as central. An inclusive and open university, close to its students, which asserts its strengths and excellence within the national context with teaching, research, and Third Mission activities that strengthen its cultural, scientific, and educational presence.
