The Rector Prof. Giuseppe Zimbalatti emphasized that these awards are a tangible confirmation of the excellence of our University's research system. Furthermore, in affirming its status as a Università Mediterranea Research University, he emphasized how this system is supported by numerous scientific laboratories and study centers, which provide a platform for the growth of young researchers and the development, valorization, and dissemination of research and its impact on teaching activities. This latter area also saw encouraging growth in enrollment in our degree programs this year.
Professor Massimo Lauria, Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer, emphasizes how the significant resources derived from ongoing PNRR and PRIN projects are supporting innovative research efforts. Their conclusion, scheduled for next spring, and their results are driving several experimental and dissemination initiatives that are not only helping to strengthen the Università Mediterranea's role in the broader national and international scientific landscape, but are also creating the conditions for overall growth in all indicators used to assess research quality by ministerial agencies.
