Chamber of Deputies Award 2026

The Chamber of Deputies and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei , within the framework of the Collaboration Protocol, have defined a joint program of cultural and scientific initiatives aimed at promoting informed reflection on the transformations underway in contemporary society and the role of democratic institutions in governing innovation . Within this framework, particular attention is paid to the contribution of new generations of scholars, called upon to interpret the challenges of the present from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The first edition of the Chamber of Deputies Prize is open to PhDs and master's graduates and aims to promote studies and research that integrate legal, economic, philosophical, and scientific knowledge, offering an original perspective on the relationship between knowledge, public decision-making, and the future of democracy.
The Prize is open to those who have defended, in the previous five years, a thesis on a topic indicated for each edition (here is the link to the announcement: https://www.lincei.it/it/bandi-premi-borse ).
The deadline for submitting applications to participate in the first edition electronically (at this link: https://selezionionline.lincei.it/ ) is March 31, 2026.
The selection will be entrusted to a commission composed of representatives of the Chamber of Deputies and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
The award ceremony will take place during the Opening Ceremony of the 2026-2027 Academic Year of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, reflecting the value placed on the contribution of young scholars in strengthening the dialogue between science, knowledge, and institutions. The research will be presented at a public event at the Chamber of Deputies.
