Presentation and selection meeting - PROM "Short-term Academic Exchange" project

Please be advised that an online meeting will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. to present the initiative and select candidates for the “PROM – Short-term Academic Exchange” project.

The project, dedicated to the themes of new technologies and human rights, is also coordinated by Prof. Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro (Unirc - Uek) and is supported by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), with co-financing from the European Union (European Social Fund Plus – ESF+).

The initiative includes, among other activities, short-term academic mobility programs for study and research purposes at participating universities for students from various partner universities (Polish, Czech, Swedish, Turkish, and Chinese), as well as from the Department of Law, Economics, and Human Sciences (DiGiES) of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.

There are currently 7 places available for students enrolled in our University's Law degree program from the second year onwards to undertake study and training activities at:

  • Częstochowa (Poland): 13–20 February 2026
  • Reggio Calabria (Italy): March 9–14, 2026, with a stay in a tourist residence from March 12 to 14, 2026.

Students who:

  • have passed all exams in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year;
  • have a knowledge of the English language of a level no lower than B1;
  • have student status for the entire duration of the project.

Recognition of CFU is not required in Italy.

The scholarship provided to beneficiaries, regardless of their ISEE bracket, amounts to:

  • 110 euros per day for the duration of the mobility abroad;
  • 480 euros as a contribution towards travel expenses.

The selection will be made in compliance with the criteria set out in the project, including:

  • passing all exams in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year;
  • possession of English language skills of a level no lower than B1;
  • possible short oral interview aimed at verifying possession of the linguistic skills required by the Project.

During the meeting the following will be illustrated:

  • the project objectives;
  • the planned activities;
  • the mobility calendar and other organizational aspects.
