Partnerships

A distinctive feature of the doctoral courses of the Mediterranean University is the collaboration with national and international organizations, such as manufacturing and service companies, public bodies, universities and research centers. These partnerships aim to:

  • constantly improve the training offer of the courses, responding to the demand for researchers from these organizations;
  • support teaching activities by providing advice to the teaching staff on relevant research areas and contributing with conferences, advanced infrastructures, laboratories and internship opportunities;
  • identify significant research topics and projects from an industrial, social and economic point of view, useful for the development of doctoral theses.

In this context, the Mediterranean University promotes collaborations with important public and private organizations engaged in scientific and cultural activities for:

  • invest in innovative research projects;
  • maintain links with the university to access highly qualified human resources that are difficult to find elsewhere;
  • act as research laboratories and offer PhD students internship opportunities, both in Italy and abroad;
  • demonstrate to its stakeholders a concrete interest in innovation in strategic sectors;
  • contribute to the development of doctoral programmes that provide a basis for future protagonists of the international knowledge community.
