ERASMUS+ STUDY MOBILITY 2026/2027

The deadline for submitting online applications is 11:59 PM on January 15, 2026 .

Who can participate? All students (including PhD students)

Where to go?  At  https://www.unirc.it/sites/default/files/2025-12/Erasmus%2B%20Studio%20Elenco%20Accordi%20Bilaterali%20Area%20INGEGNERIA.pdf

you can find the list of universities

How long to go?  From 2 to 12 months

When to go?  Between September 1, 2026, and July 31, 2027.

Is there a financial contribution ? Yes. The monthly contribution is €350-400, plus travel support (between €28 and €1,735), a possible contribution of €250 (based on your financial situation), and other possible contributions (students with disabilities, MUR supplementary contribution, other resources).

Why go?  To pursue/take a certain number of credits (for example, 18) at the host university, or to carry out activities related to your thesis/doctoral research, or to undertake a combined mobility program (study + curricular internship), or to complete a curricular internship (with mandatory credits), even if not accompanied by courses or seminars. Furthermore, Erasmus helps you grow in independence and confidence, improve your language skills, and your ability to adapt. It also enhances your CV and allows you to build a network of international contacts (friends, professors, thesis or internship opportunities).

What to do operationally?

  1. Select at least five locations you would like to study at from the list of available locations (" Erasmus+ Study List of Bilateral Agreements in the Engineering Area "). How should you choose them? For example, based on the exams you intend to take;
  2. Complete the Learning Agreement. This is the "agreement" between the two universities—Mediterranea and the host university—and the student. Where can I find this document? https://unirc.portaleamministrazionetrasparente.it/index.php?id_oggetto=22&id_doc=32140  In practice, if you wish to attend/take courses abroad, Table A will indicate the courses to be taken abroad, while Table B will indicate the corresponding courses at Mediterranean University. This means that upon returning from the mobility period, the student will request recognition of the credits/courses earned abroad (Table A) instead of the corresponding credits/courses they should have earned at Mediterranean University (Table B).
  3.  Fill out the application form. Where is it located? https://unirc.portaleamministrazionetrasparente.it/index.php?id_oggetto=22&id_doc=32140  ;
  4. Recover your language certifications (if any);
  5. For assistance in choosing the most suitable destinations and completing the Learning Agreement, please contact the Departmental Erasmus offices ( [email protected] ; [email protected] ) and/or the DIIES Erasmus delegate (Prof. FG Praticò, 6th floor, [email protected] ). NB: The Learning Agreement must be completed with the assistance of the Erasmus Delegate of your Department and must be attached to the application, under penalty of disqualification.
  6. Follow the instructions in the announcement to complete the online application form.
