Notice - Specialization School for Legal Professions 2027

The School of Specialization for Legal Professions, established by Legislative Decree 398/1997, is undergoing a complete overhaul.

The competent Ministries, listening to the requests of the Universities, have agreed on a radical modification to the structure and functions of the School, implemented in Legislative Decree no. 19 of 19 February 2026, converted into Law no. 50 of 20 April 2026.

The unified ministerial management of schools is no longer in place, the course lasts only one year instead of the previous two, each university can independently define the course's content, and case law recognizes the educational program as equivalent to a second-level master's degree for participation in public competitions.

The Rector, in agreement with the School's Board of Directors, has deemed that this important educational experience should be implemented in accordance with the new regulatory provisions.

Therefore, the School's Board of Directors has decided to launch a new one-year course, with a curriculum of three hundred and twenty hours, beginning in January 2027. The unique feature of the curriculum is that the faculty is composed of university professors, judges, lawyers, and notaries, thus offering students diverse perspectives on the study of law. For this reason, the lessons are hands-on, always accompanied by the drafting of essays or documents.

Attendance at the School is compatible with simultaneous enrollment in the Law School or other courses preparing for the legal professions.

The registration procedures are established in a notice to be published soon.
