Tuesday, December 16, 2025, 9:30 a.m., Palazzo Zani: conference on INNOVATION – SUSTAINABILITY AGRICULTURE – FOOD
As part of the PRIN (Programme for National Research Council) "Legal Challenges of Green Economy 4.0," the research unit of the Università Mediterranea, coordinated by Professor Attilio Gorassini, presents the volume "Innovation in Agriculture and Food: Rules, Science, and the Market," edited by Professor Gorassini himself with Professor Roberto Saija, former professor of agricultural law at the Department. The volume collects the proceedings of the meeting held in December 2024 at the San Raffaele University of Rome and features authors from several participants in the research project within the Università Mediterranea research unit and from various partner universities.
The conference, scheduled to take place at Palazzo Zani on the morning of December 16th, starting at 9:30 a.m., will also be an opportunity to discuss the project's ongoing research, focusing on innovation in the agri-food market and agriculture, the use of Artificial Intelligence tools and related risk management, and prospects for a unified regulation for innovative businesses.
The proceedings will be introduced by Professor Roberto Amagliani of the University of Messina, PI of the PRIN "The Legal Challenges of Green Economy 4.0", and concluded by speeches by Professors Saija and Gorassini.
