On Tuesday 20 May 2026 , at 8:30 am in the Aula Magna “Antonio Quistelli” , the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria will celebrate the closing ceremony of the experimental project “Incoming Students in Staff – 2025/2026” , one of the most innovative and distinctive paths promoted by the University in the context of orientation and dialogue with local schools.
The event will represent not only the culmination of an experience that actively involved high school students in university life, but also a major public opportunity for discussion, participation, and sharing with the local community, schools, the media, and all stakeholders in the educational and social systems.
During the morning, in the presence of the Rector, the Università Mediterranea's educational offering for the 2026/2027 academic year will be presented .
This is a moment of particular strategic and institutional importance, through which the University will illustrate its vision of the university to the press, the media, schools, and the wider community: a contemporary, interdisciplinary, international educational model increasingly connected to the needs of new generations, the labor market, and social, environmental, and technological transformations.
The presentation of the new Course Offering will be the heart of the event and will symbolically mark the beginning of a new era of orientation, innovation, and growth for the entire Mediterranea academic community.
During the ceremony, certificates will also be awarded to students who participated in the "Incoming Students in Staff" project and the motivational training courses completed throughout the year.
The students involved have also represented, in the 2025/2026 edition, a fundamental component of the University's communication, reception, and organizational activities, contributing with enthusiasm and expertise to the realization of the main institutional events of the Mediterranea, including Open Day 2025, Open Doors, the Inauguration of the Academic Year, and the Christmas Concert.
The day will continue with " Tell me really how are you? ", an event in the twelfth edition of "#NonCiFermaNessuno 2026 " with Luca Abete , a national project dedicated to the emotional well-being of young people and the valorization of fragility as tools for personal and collective growth. The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of University and Research and the CRUI, awarded the Medal of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, confirms Mediterranea's commitment to promoting an open, inclusive university culture deeply focused on the valorization of individuals.
With this event, Mediterranea renews its mission: to build a university capable of listening, innovating, supporting, and inspiring new generations, placing talent, participation, and the future at its core.
