The Department of Agriculture presents the renewed three-year degree course in Food and Gastronomic Sciences and Technologies (Class L-26)

The training program aims to develop modern professionals capable of managing the entire agri-food supply chain: from production in the fields to consumption at the table, combining sustainability, technological innovation, and the valorization of Mediterranean gastronomic culture.

Graduates will be able to quickly enter public and private sectors in the following key roles:

  • Food Technician : for quality control, biological safety, and process innovation in the processing and preservation industries.
  • Gastronomy and Catering Technician : for the management, design, and optimization of collective, commercial, and catering services.
  • Biochemical laboratory technician : responsible for chemical and microbiological analyses for consumer protection and food traceability.
  • E-commerce and large-scale retail consultant : specialist in small and large-scale agri-food retail.
  • Food and wine tourism promoter : expert in agri-food brand communication and in developing agritourism and local marketing projects.
