Erasmus Traineeship: Informational meeting at the Department of Agriculture

On Wednesday, February 4, the "Francesco Saverio Nesci" Seminar Room in the Department of Agriculture at the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria hosted an important informational meeting to present the new Erasmus+ Traineeship Call for Applications for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The initiative offered Agriculture students a comprehensive overview of internship opportunities abroad, essential for enriching their academic and professional careers with international experience. Dr. Monica Montenero, a member of the Unirc Erasmus+ staff, detailed the technical procedures for participation, entry requirements, and application procedures, the deadline for which is February 27, 2026.

The Department's Erasmus Commission, Professors Giulia Li Destri Nicosia (Departmental Erasmus Delegate), Souraya Benalia, and Carmelo Musarella, provided in-depth information on academic and orientation aspects, answering questions from aspiring candidates.

A particularly engaging moment was the testimonies of volunteers from the Erasmus Student Network (ESN-Reggio Calabria) association, who shared their travel and personal growth stories, providing practical advice on daily life abroad, and highlighting the value of the support network ESN offers young people on the move.
