Particular emphasis was placed on the Degree Course in Forestry and Environmental Sciences, presented as a fundamental training program for preparing the technicians of the future, capable of addressing with competence and vision the complex issues related to land management, ecosystem conservation, and innovation in the agro-forestry sector.

During the day, participants took part in a guided tour of the urban forest “Riforest@graria” and the Department's laboratories, where the main research activities and technologies used in the study of agro-forestry ecosystems were illustrated.

The “Adopt a Tree” initiative was also presented  , aimed at promoting greater environmental awareness and the active participation of citizens in the care of urban greenery, strengthening the link between the university and the local area.
