Jo Cox Europe Award 2026

The ASTRID Foundation ( www.astrid.eu ) and the Istituto Affari Internazionali ( www.iai.it ), under the high patronage of the European Parliament, are again promoting for 2026 a European Studies Degree Prize named after Helen Joanne “Jo” Cox , the British MP who was the victim of an attack before Brexit. The prize is intended to commemorate Jo Cox's commitment to the United Kingdom's continued membership in the EU and to reward one or more young people whose studies shed light on the economic, political, social, and legal benefits of European integration.
The 2026 Cox Prize is reserved for master's theses that, following various disciplinary approaches, focus on the problems of the institutions, economy, and society of the European Union (EU) and on the European policies needed to face the technological, environmental, and geopolitical challenges of our time .
Theses submitted to the Cox Prize may address economic, financial, legal, international relations, and institutional issues.
Candidates must submit their thesis and a detailed CV (with a clear degree grade) in electronic format (PDF) to [email protected] by June 30, 2026.
