Mediterranea celebrates International Women's Day
Screening of the film "Tatami - A Woman Fighting for Freedom" - Monday, March 9th at 6:30 PM, at the Sala Cineforum Mediterranea
On the occasion of “International Women’s Day”, the CLab_CinemaLab of the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, in collaboration with the “Charlie Chaplin” Cinema Club and the MUSA Student Association, is organizing the screening of the film Tatami - A Woman Fighting for Freedom , directed by Guy Nattiv and Zar Amir Ebrahimi.
The Rector of the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, Giuseppe Zimbalatti , will participate in the event.
The debate will be moderated by Claudio Scarpelli, President of the “Charlie Chaplin” Cinema Club.
Speakers will include:
- Prof. Daniele Cananzi , Pro-Rector Delegate for University Cultural Policies and for the SNA territorial training center in the Calabria region, UniRC;
- Prof. Daniela Dominica Porcino , Rector's Delegate for Equal Opportunities, UniRC;
- Dr. Flavia Carricato , Vice President of the Union of Women in Italy (UDI) of Reggio Calabria;
- Student Emily Macchione , President of the MUSA Student Association.
The screening is scheduled for Monday 9 March at 6:30 pm , at the Sala Cineforum Mediterranea, University Towers complex.
Admission is free.
