Mediterranea presents the future: student protagonists, new opportunities, a shared vision of the University


On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Università Mediterranea  di  Reggio Calabria, in the presence of the Rector, presented the Course Offering for the 2026/2027 Academic Year during the closing ceremony of the experimental "Incoming Students in Staff" project, one of the most innovative and distinctive programs promoted by the University in the field of orientation and dialogue with local schools.

On Wednesday 20 May 2026 , at 9:30 am in the Aula Magna “Antonio Quistelli” , in the presence of the Rector, the Educational Offer of the Università Mediterranea  for the Academic Year 2026/2027 was presented .

A moment of particular strategic and institutional importance, through which the University illustrated to the press, the mass media, schools, and the local community its vision of a university: a contemporary, interdisciplinary, international educational model increasingly connected to the needs of new generations, the labor market, and social, environmental, and technological transformations.

The presentation of the new Course Offering is the heart of the event and symbolically marks the beginning of a new era of orientation, innovation, and growth for the entire Mediterranea academic community.


Closing ceremony of the experimental project "Incoming Students in Staff - 2025/2026"

The day of events began in the “Antonio Quistelli” Aula Magna with the closing ceremony of the experimental project “Incoming Students in Staff - 2025/2026” , one of the most innovative and distinctive courses promoted by the University in the field of orientation and dialogue with local schools.

The event represented not only the culmination of an experience that actively involved high school students in university life, but also a major public opportunity for discussion, participation, and sharing with the local community, schools, the media, and all stakeholders in the educational and social systems.

During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to students who participated in the "Incoming Students in Staff" project and the motivational training courses offered throughout the year.

The students involved have also represented, in the 2025/2026 edition, a fundamental component of the University's communication, reception, and organizational activities, contributing with enthusiasm and expertise to the realization of the main institutional events of the Mediterranea, including Open Day 2025, Open Doors, the Inauguration of the Academic Year, and the Christmas Concert.


"Tell me, really, how are you?", a meeting with Luca Abete for the 12th edition of "#NonCiFermaNessuno," a national project dedicated to the emotional well-being of young people.

The day continued with " Tell me really how are you? ", an event in the twelfth edition of "#NonCiFermaNessuno 2026 " with Luca Abete , a national project dedicated to the emotional well-being of young people and the valorization of fragility as tools for personal and collective growth. The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of University and Research and the CRUI, awarded the Medal of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, confirms Mediterranea's commitment to promoting an open, inclusive university culture deeply focused on the valorization of individuals.

With this event, Mediterranea renews its mission: to build a university capable of listening, innovating, supporting, and inspiring new generations, placing talent, participation, and the future at its core.
