Universities revealed, the University opens its doors to the city!
From March 19th to 26th, many initiatives will highlight the concrete contribution of research to local development.
On Friday, March 20, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria renews its participation in "Universities Revealed," the National University Day established by the CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors). The initiative was created to showcase the scientific and social heritage of universities to the public, highlighting the concrete contribution of research to the development of the region.
For the 2026 edition, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria presents "Universities Revealed," scheduled for March 19-27, 2026, with events dedicated to orientation, culture, sports, art, and well-being, aimed at students, schools, and the local community thanks to PNRR (M4C1) funding.
The initiative opens on March 19 with the presentation of the MED_ASA Internationalization Program and a concert by the Ensemble Mediterranea.
March 20th will be the busiest day of the year: the inauguration of the exhibition "Sport is Value" by Natino Chirico, a conference on student well-being in the Quistelli Auditorium, the "OrSIadi" competition in the Quaroni Auditorium, and numerous activities including open lectures, seminars, workshops, and presentations of the program offerings in all departments.
On March 26th, there will be a much-anticipated event with Ferdinando De Giorgi, coach of the Men's National Volleyball Team, who will present his book "Egoisti di Squadra" (Team Selfish) in conversation with the Rector and the Deputy Rector for Orientation.
"Università Svelate" (University Revealed) is an opportunity to learn more about the University and its opportunities through a program open to the entire community.
