Women in STEM 2026: 13 scholarships to support female talent in scientific disciplines

 The Job Placement program, in collaboration with the CUG (Unique Guarantee Committee for Equal Opportunities, Employee Well-Being, and Anti-Discrimination) at the Mediterranean University, supports the "Women in STEM" initiative.

The Giuseppina Mai Foundation , with the support of its Sistema partners, is promoting the fourth edition of the “Women in STEM” call , the initiative dedicated to young female students who have chosen to build their future in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The goal is to enhance female talent and help reduce the gender gap in STEM subjects, areas that are increasingly strategic for the country's growth, innovation, and competitiveness.

The call for applications offers 13 scholarships worth €3,000 gross each , intended for the most deserving female students enrolled in the first year of a master's degree course in STEM subjects in the 2025/2026 academic year.

Students who:

  • are regularly enrolled, in the 2025/2026 academic year, in the first year of a STEM master's degree;
  • have obtained a three-year degree by 31 December 2025 , with a grade of at least 106/110 and a weighted average of exams of no less than 27/30 ;
  • present an ISEE 2026 of no more than 37,000 euros ;
  • have not already received other scholarships for the same degree course.
