As part of the internationalization initiatives activated with funding from the Ministry of Education, University and Research under the "Fund to support young people and promote student mobility" (Ministerial Decree 989/2019) – Years 2019 and 2020, to be used (identification of beneficiaries) by December 31, 2022, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has issued a call for applications for the awarding of international mobility grants for the 2022-2023 academic year to European and non-European countries aimed at carrying out study, research and thesis preparation activities and the consequent acquisition of credits, intended for students enrolled in a PhD program or a course of study offered by the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria within the normal duration of the course of study plus one year.
The activities, agreed upon between the student, the Università Mediterranea, and the host institution before departure, were formalized through the signing of an INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY AGREEMENT FOR STUDIES, which specified the terms for the implementation of the mobility and for the recognition of the activities for the purposes of career validation.
For the following call, mobilities have been accepted to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Malta, Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Republic of North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Liechtenstein, Norway, Partner Countries of Region 14 such as the Faroe Islands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and, finally, EU Partner Countries from Regions 1-4 and 6-13.
In the graph below, we can see how the largest number of mobility requests came from the Department of Architecture and Design (dAeD), followed by the Department of Law, Economics and Human Sciences (DiGiES), the Department of Agriculture and finally the two Engineering Departments DICEAM and DIIES.
