How to participate in a study/traineeship mobility period - Non-EU students

Non-EU students intending to study abroad at our university must have a VISA. Students can find all the information they need on how to apply for a VISA by visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website .

Students selected  through calls for applications from partner universities who require a visa must access the Universitaly portal  and proceed with pre-registration. It is recommended that under "Application Type" they select " I want to undertake a study/internship mobility period" and enter:

  1. the passport photo;
  2. passport;
  3. scholarship winning report;
  4. bilateral agreement;
  5. other useful documentation indicated by the department.

The Department must send the letter of eligibility for admission to the International Mobility Sector, International Student Enrollment, and Welcome Office. The relevant office will then verify the documentation uploaded during pre-registration on Universitaly, upload the letter of eligibility for admission to the same platform, validate, and forward the pre-registration application to the relevant Embassy.

This procedure will be necessary to obtain the VISA.

At the same time, the student must register for the Esse3 online services  of the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria by following the steps in the Tutorial.

This will allow us to assign a student ID number and provide all the necessary services (a badge for the free urban bus service, university Wi-Fi, and institutional email).

For accommodation and other assistance related to your stay in the city of Reggio Calabria, please consult the ERASMUS STUDENT NETWORK (ESN) page  and contact the email address [email protected] .

Agreement with the Euromed University of Fez (Morocco)

The Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria has signed an Erasmus+ mobility agreement for students and staff outside Europe with the Euro-Méditerranean University of Fes “UEMF”.

This agreement, involving the Department of Architecture and Design (dAeD) of the “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria and the Ecole d'Architecture, de Design et d'Urbanisme of the University of Fez, offers students and the academic community of both countries an interesting international training opportunity, with significant personal and professional benefits.

As can be seen from the graph at the top left, we can see how the values are quite uniform over the academic years.
