Gender Identity Training Course at Mediterranea
A training session entitled "Psychology of Gender Identity" will be held on Wednesday, June 10th in the Quaroni Auditorium, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The course, taught by Professor Vincenzo Bochicchio, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Dynamic Psychology at the University of Calabria, is proposed and promoted by the University's Single Guarantee Committee for Equal Opportunities, the Promotion of Workers' Well-Being, and the Fight Against Discrimination (CUG), in collaboration with the Teaching and Active Learning Center (TAL).
The course aims to describe in detail the factors associated with the definition of gender identity, to promote the acquisition and use of informed language, paying particular attention to recognizing the prejudices that often accompany gender identity.
The training activity is part of the "Career Alias" initiative at the University and is aimed at the University's teaching staff, technical, administrative, and library staff, and students, but is also open to external professionals.
