YEP – Young Women Empowerment Program 2026-2027 Edition

The Job Placement and the CUG - Single Guarantee Committee for equal opportunities, the enhancement of the well-being of those who work and against discrimination of the University of Mediterranean Studies - report YEP / Young Women Empowerment Program , a program for the future of young female students in Southern Italy conceived by the Ortygia Foundation , as part of its commitment to gender inclusion and the valorization of young female talents.
Thanks to YEP , for 6 months , young female students will have the opportunity to compare and explore the dynamics of orientation and the world of work with a professional from an important Italian company (Mentor) through a mentoring relationship .
The program is aimed at female students enrolled in the first or second year of a Master's degree (fourth and fifth year for single-cycle programs) in degree courses belonging to the DiGiES, DIIES, and DICEAM departments , and will provide useful tools to help them make informed academic and career choices.
The meetings will be held remotely. Participation is free for universities and students.
