Visual identity, creativity and design for Institutional Communication

The Graphic Design and Production Office is responsible for the visual design and graphic production of materials intended for the institutional communication of the University. The Office contributes to building and strengthening the visual identity of the university, ensuring coherence, recognisability and aesthetic quality in all productions, both paper and digital.

Working in synergy with the Institutional Communications Sector, the Office plays an essential role in providing technical and creative support in the creation of information campaigns, events, promotional materials and editorial content. Each project is developed according to the University's coordinated image guidelines, in compliance with institutional values ​​and the public function of communication.

The main activities of the Office include:

  • Conception and graphic design of informational, promotional and institutional materials: brochures, leaflets, posters, placards, banners, slides, infographics, folders, publications;
  • Graphic design for the web and social media , with specific adaptations for digital content and multimedia formats;
  • Visual support for events, conferences and institutional ceremonies , through the development of dedicated graphic identities, materials for installations, programmes, invitations and presentations;
  • Care of the University's visual identity , in compliance with the coordinated image guidelines, ensuring uniformity and continuity between the various communication tools and channels;
  • Graphic production for institutional publishing , in collaboration with academic offices and structures;
  • Supervision of outsourced work , with printing houses and graphic studios, to control the production and quality of the final products;
  • Archive and management of the graphic materials produced , to allow their reuse, updating and internal dissemination.
  • Design and printing of books , magazines and editorial products;
  • Registration and release of ISBN and DOI codes.

It is also the body responsible for the design and production of the official parchments of the University and the production of the recognition cards from the Ministry - on pre-printed formats - on behalf of the Human Resources Area, and any other administrative documents, as well as the forms in use.
