G7 Youth Engagement Group: The Young Ambassadors Society is selecting the Italian Delegation for Y7

In collaboration with the Sherpa Office of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is selecting the delegates who in 2026 will join the Italian Delegation to Youth 7 (Y7), the official G7 engagement group dedicated to young people.

The Y7 brings together young international leaders under 30. The engagement group's work spans several months throughout the year and culminates with the Y7 Summit, where the Final Communiqué containing the young delegations' proposals is drafted and then forwarded to Presidents and Heads of State.

In 2026, the Y7 Summit will be held in May in France. Work will focus on the following priority areas:

  • Geopolitical Upheavals
  • Technological Disruptions
  • Economic & Demographic Imbalances
  • Ecological Crisis

To apply to be part of the Italian Y7 delegation, among other criteria, candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old; have excellent command of the English language; have volunteer, study, entrepreneurial, or work experience related to at least one of the priority areas; be passionate about the topics covered and enjoy working in a team in a multicultural environment; and be able to commit to completing the work before and after the Summit.
