The Department
The Department of Civil, Energy, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICEAM) was born from the need to create a departmental structure with a predominantly engineering nature and a strong interdisciplinary vocation, in order to encourage and promote profitable interactions between sectors of basic and applied sciences that can support a broad and articulated and, at the same time, sustainable research and teaching project.
The departmental structure, in addition to contributing to the rationalization of administrative and management resources, as required by law 240/10, allows for a broad interdisciplinary strategic aggregation, capable of positioning itself in the Calabrian and national territorial context as a highly qualified interlocutor for the promotion and implementation of cultural, scientific and educational initiatives in purely engineering fields, with particular reference to the sectors of civil and environmental engineering, land protection, environmental protection, materials and energy.
The skills present in the Department are such as to guarantee a qualified and sustainable educational offer in the CUN 08 area.
