Transfer from other universities
Students from another university can transfer to one of the active study programs at the Università Mediterranea.
Undergraduate and graduate degree courses with open access
Students wishing to transfer to a three-year degree course or a single-cycle master's degree course with open access must check, on the Department pages and in the Regulations of the chosen degree course, whether and how they must take the entrance exam.
Open access master's degree courses
Students wishing to transfer to an open-access master's degree program must first submit an evaluation request in the reserved area of the Esse3 portal under the "Administration / Evaluation Procedure" section to obtain authorization for transfer to the teaching facility identified by the chosen degree program.
Limited-access study courses - first year
Students wishing to transfer to the first year of a limited-access program must pass the admission test to obtain clearance by following the procedures indicated in the program admission notices.
Courses with limited access - years after the first
The methods and terms for transfer with admission to years subsequent to the first of courses with restricted access are governed by the announcements for admission to years subsequent to the first published by the Departments.
Submission of the transfer application
The deadline for submitting a transfer request from another university is set annually in the Study Plan. Only transfer slips certifying that the student has submitted a transfer request to the student office of their home university by the indicated date will be accepted.
Requests for transfer to:
- study courses that are no longer available
- courses not included in the educational offering
- courses regulated by regulations pursuant to Ministerial Decree 509/99 and/or previous regulations (so-called old regulations).
Mediterranea accepts documentation submitted by the student's home university up to the date established annually in the Study Plan.
To use the online enrollment process, students must access the Mediterranea ESSE3 student portal and register. Those who already have access credentials do not need to register again, but must authenticate with their existing data or via SPID. After logging in, follow the "Segreteria/Immatricolazione" path, selecting the "Enrollment for Transfer" option.
Esse3 registrations from other universities are not valid for operating on the Università Mediterranea website.
All transfers from other universities will incur an administrative fee of €100.00 for processing the application and evaluating the student's academic career, in addition to the standard fees, regardless of any contributions already paid at the university of origin.
