International

The internationalization of dAeD is a priority, highlighted in the strategic objectives of the Department Strategic Plan 2024-2027 and takes advantage of the quality of training and scientific research and the management experience acquired in recent years through exchange programs and the Double Degree program, active since 2018, but also of the strategic position in the Mediterranean of the University, which have led to a constant growth of foreign students.

The dAeD is constantly committed to strengthening and expanding the activities of internationalization of teaching and the international mobility of teachers, which had seen an inevitable slowdown since the pandemic period. Among the strengths are:

• the availability, to date, of 44 active bilateral agreements for the implementation of all Erasmus+ projects;
• the possibility of strengthening and expanding the international network through the relationships of dAeD teachers and researchers with other European and international schools of Architecture and Design;
• the ability of dAeD teachers and researchers to implement international teaching projects: Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP), short mobility and traineeships;

the bonuses provided for in the teaching regulations of the Study Courses included in the dAeD for students who successfully participate in international exchange projects and co-supervised degree theses.
