Research

All those affiliated with dAeD, organized into operational units, laboratories and Spin-offs, conduct studies, projects and programs with high scientific content in accordance with the provisions of the University and Departmental Strategic Plans, the cycles of National Research Plans and the competitive lines of calls at regional, national, European and international level. In order to compete for the highest standards for the Evaluation of Research Quality, the operational areas of research are added that involve the training courses directly promoted by dAeD, with the implementation of II level Masters and Doctoral Cycles, initiatives for the internationalization of Research, but also for the transfer from experimentation of educational experiences aimed at excellence.

The research carried out is financed by ministerial funds, direct and indirect EU funds, other dedicated funds and fundraising, in order to meet the demand for innovation and development, through the production of studies, research and experiments designed to satisfy the interest of the various public and/or private entities and of the territory and/or socio-productive context for which we operate. The Third Mission activities complete and transfer to the territory, experiences, actions and projects with the aim of contributing to the social, economic and environmental development of the reference contexts, with particular attention to the actions carried out, with the network of businesses, public administration, non-profit associations, other research, cultural and scientific bodies. Training courses, events, projects and activities are carried out inside and outside the departmental structures, in order to disseminate and disseminate levels of competence and knowledge in non-academic environments, also by collaborating on projects of high social and ethical value for the beneficiaries identified and the partnership networks activated.
