Purpose

CRED is the first research center dedicated solely to the study of the aesthetics of law, a topic and question as ancient as it is new in the philosophy of law and legal sciences. Following pioneering studies that successfully established a connection between law and aesthetics, research on the aesthetic dimension of law and its form has begun to attract a growing number of scholars. This is demonstrated by CRED's international academic board and the activities the center has organized in recent years, involving scholars from various Italian and international universities as well as public and private institutions.

Activity

CRED aims to promote scientific initiatives and research, establish a specialized library, and publish a series of studies to foster international debate on the aesthetics of law. To this end, it presents itself not only as a research center but also as a meeting point for scholars from around the world who wish to explore and develop the topic of aesthetics in relation to legal matters.
More information on current projects is available on the Laboratory's website .
