ISEE
Students are placed into different contribution brackets based on their economic situation, as assessed by the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator ( ISEE-U ), valid for the right to university education (see sample below). Different ISEE types will not be considered valid.
The University uses application-based cooperation to interact with the INPS databases. Therefore, students who wish to request an adjustment to the second installment of the Annual Comprehensive Contribution (COA) due to their financial situation must authorize the University to acquire ISEE-U 2025 data from the INPS database during the enrollment or enrollment renewal process.
Failure to acquire ISEE-U data, for any reason, is the student's direct responsibility and will result in placement in the highest contribution bracket.
Following the renewal of registration or enrollment, if INPS returns the ISEE-U certification with a "DEFECTIVE" status due to "omissions or discrepancies," the student must take care of the necessary regularization to allow the University to acquire, within the deadlines set for registration, the subsequent corrective ISEE-U certification with a "DEFECTIVE" status and in the specific form intended for universities with the wording " applies to subsidized benefits for the right to university education " for the student's tax code.
In the event of failure to acquire the ISEE, there are two cases:
- the ISEE certificate is not present in the INPS database;
- The ISEE certificate is not valid for the student's tax code for the purpose of benefiting from the University Education Right subsidized benefits.
In this case, the student must contact the Accountant or CAF for clarification and to immediately resolve the issue that has arisen.
You may update your ISEE-U, free of charge, by the registration deadline. After the deadline, the DSU submission date will be used. For ISEE-Us downloaded after the deadline, with a DSU submission date subsequent to the deadline, a recalculation fee of €120.00 will apply .
ISEE-U recalculation is permitted until December 31, 2025, but only if the ISEE-U is incorrect or missing. Updating a valid ISEE present on the ESSE3 system is not permitted.
Students who have not consented to the acquisition of an ISEE and/or for whom a valid ISEE value for the right to university education is not present in the INPS database are placed in the highest contribution bracket.
