Academic Calendar

This section describes the teaching activities of the Department for the academic year 2025/26.

LESSON CALENDAR:

LESSONS 1st semester

September 22, 2025 - December 19, 2025 (13 weeks)

LESSONS 2nd semester

February 23, 2026 - May 22, 2026 (13 weeks)

STUDY TRIPS AND EXERCISES IN THE FOREST CALENDAR:

May 25, 2026 - June 5, 2026.

Activities must be organized and coordinated within the Study Programs.

EXAM CALENDAR ORDINARY SESSIONS:

1st period (winter session)

Three appeals, spaced at least ten days apart, between Wednesday 7 January 2026 and Friday 20

February 2026;

2nd period (summer session)

Three appeals, spaced at least ten days apart, between Monday 8 June 2026 and Friday 24

July 2026;

3rd period (autumn session)

Two appeals, spaced at least ten days apart, between Monday 31 August 2026 and Friday 18 September 2026.

How to participate in ordinary sessions: 

The Council, upon the Director's proposal, unanimously decides that all students may participate in the ordinary exam sessions, including those graduating in the extraordinary March session (students who have completed the third year of the three-year degree courses but are not yet enrolled in master's degree courses and are waiting to graduate in March, or who have completed the second year of the master's degree courses).

EXAM CALENDAR EXTRAORDINARY SESSIONS:

One appeal per month in October, November and December 2025, March, April and May 2026.

How to participate in the extraordinary sessions: 

The Council, upon proposal of the Director, unanimously decides that with regards to the extraordinary sessions of the profit exams:

  • students  who are behind in their studies  and  about to graduate can participate in all extraordinary exams;
  • 3rd year students of  three-year degree courses  can participate starting  from the  October  session ;
  • 2nd-year students of master's degree programmes can participate starting  from the March session  (in these degree programmes, lessons end in the first semester of the second year);
  • Graduating students   in the March special session (students who have completed the third year of a three-year degree program but are not yet enrolled in a master's degree program and are waiting to graduate in March, or who have completed the second year of a master's degree program) can participate in the special exam sessions in October, November, and December prior to graduation.
