Starting June 8th, initial enrollment (registration) is open to the undergraduate and graduate programs with open admission—no admission test—at the Università Mediterranea. Enrollment for subsequent years can be renewed starting the same date.

Rector Prof. Giuseppe Zimbalatti and the academic community of the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria congratulate the Honorable Francesco Cannizzaro on his electoral success and extend their best wishes for his continued leadership of Reggio Calabria. 

The conference will bring together delegates, teachers, and school representatives for a shared reflection on the prospects for university orientation. It will be an opportunity for institutional discussion dedicated to the value of academic innovation, and the role of universities in promoting active citizenship and community development.

The transformation goes far beyond the building stock: it is an investment in the urban quality of Reggio Calabria, in the construction of new collective spaces, and in the city's ability to attract talent and offer stimulating environments for education and research.

The traditional event for students, graduates, and job seekers is back, where they can meet with companies and recruiters for interviews and job opportunities.

From May 12 to 14, 2026, the University hosted an institutional visit by the ANVUR Commission of Evaluation Experts (CEV): days of discussion on the quality of education, research, and services.

On May 20th, starting at 10:00 a.m., the DIGIES Department's Educational Laboratories Hall (terrace entrance lot D) will host XPitch , an initiative dedicated to bringing together startups, investors, students, and innovation leaders. The initiative is promoted by "L'orodiCalabria," an association founded with the aim of supporting young people in building new growth and development opportunities for the Calabrian region.

This year, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has chosen to dedicate its 5x1000  donations entirely   to those who are the beating heart of our University: our students.

Calabrian universities, in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Universities and Research, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Merit, have been asked to decide on the educational potential for each level of schooling.

The Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabra is strengthening its social commitment with the launch of an ambitious initiative that focuses on sport as a means of promoting wellbeing, integration and personal growth. Carried out with the support of the Calabria Regional Government, CONI and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), the project aims to enhance the University’s sports facilities, making them accessible to the entire academic community without exception.
