Italian Erasmus
The Italian Erasmus Program promotes and supports the mutual exchange of students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or single-cycle master's degrees. The Program is aimed at building innovative study paths that promote interdisciplinarity and flexibility of the educational offer, with a view to enriching the study plan with additional and complementary training activities compared to those proposed by the home university. Pursuant to Ministerial Decree 28/03/2024 n. 548, the Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria has established a mobility program aimed at attending courses (with the support of the related final exams) at the University of Bergamo, with which an Agreement for national exchange is being finalized.
Given the growing interest in the national student mobility program , which allows students to enrich their academic and professional curriculum with a more limited financial commitment than that generally expected in an international mobility, the University of Bergamo and the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria have established a scholarship program aimed at attending courses (and taking the related final exams) at the partner university.
This experiment by the universities of Bergamo and Reggio Calabria represents the first in Italy that is part of the strategic plan of the MUR , as also demonstrated by the financing included in the maneuver equal to 10 million for the next two years . The two universities, in the presence of the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, presented the project to their students.
